Operation Overboard 2012 Vacation Bible School

St. Paul's invites all children to get ready to dive into fun at Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep With God Vacation Bible School. Explore and experience God's underwater universe at VBS! The fun begins Monday, July 9, and continues through Friday, July 13. We meet at the church from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day. The adventures include regular deep-sea voyages into Bible fun and creative crafts, mission learning, music, and more. To be part of all the excitement, register online here or fill out a form at the church office. Cost is $7 per child with a $20 maximum per family.

Change the World Food Drive - May 20

To support the Change the World initiative, St. Paul's Outreach Team has organized a church food drive on Sunday, May 20, to benefit the Pearl Food Pantry. Bring non-perishable food items to the church and place them near the food pantry in the east hallway. Any food will be accepted, but there is a special need for items such as peanut butter, jelly, cereal, canned pasta, tuna and hamburger helper, macaroni and cheese and soup. Mark your calendar and plan to support this worthwhile project.

The Pearl Pantry is an outreach program of Living Hope UMC, a mission church supported by Omaha area UM churches and conference mission shares. The Pearl Pantry provides food and clothing to those in need, and the need has increased dramatically since the downturn in the economy. Thousands of families and individuals are served each year. The need is great, and your donations will make a big difference.
